Summers End - CLN

Summers End brings the feeling of lace curtains fluttering at open windows through which the dawn bird song trickles in, along with the heady perfumed scent of the last of the season’s roses. In late summer the garden is a wild tangle of blooms and laden berry vines: rogue thorns catch eyelet dresses and the family pups frolic in the undergrowth. In late afternoon, the sun slants low casting a golden light over all, setting every nod ding blossom vividly aglow.
