Babycord is what we call this really narrow ribbed 21 wale corduroy. The lower the number of wales, the wider and bigger the ribs. This really defines the look of this fabric. Our babycord is perfect for more delicate garments like dresses, blouses and baby clothes. With more than 25 colors, there will always be a perfect match for you! This product holds the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. The Oeko-Tex® label guarantees that no harmful substances, such as chemicals, are present in the fabric. Standard 100 includes four levels of certification, with criteria for baby clothing. Meaning dyes won't be absorbed through the skin, and infants and young children should be able to safely chew on fabrics. See video here.
