EE Schenck Company, a nationally recognized leader in high quality fabrics and notions for the last century, is seeking a full time Order Management Specialist for our fabric and notions wholesale distribution business.
The Order Management Specialist at EE Schenck is responsible for all aspects of order processing from order inception to directing order printing to satisfy customer and sales representative requirements. This position will require collaborating across multiple departments to help facilitate efficient and accurate order processing.
Other duties include::
- Review and release sales orders from the distribution system to verify that all necessary information is accurate for fulfilment.
- Enter sales orders when required.
- Consistent monitoring to adhere to vendor policies related to order fulfilment.
- Proactive order follow-up regarding credit holds or credit card declines.
- Review all customer and sales representative comments to ensure accuracy for proper fulfillment.
- Communicate regularly with the Purchasing and Logistics departments regarding collection releases or updates to help manage the fulfillment process.
- Research shipping discrepancies and address underlying causes.
- Communicate effectively across multiple departments and teams to ensure the fulfillment process functions efficiently.

- Knowledge of distribution and warehousing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- General knowledge of ERP systems and software.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in an order fulfillment role
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiarity with ERP systems
